    Re: Mock NBA Draft

Oh ok. I couldn't remember if he was a junior or senior. Just reading SI they talked like he would be the only college player who right now could come out and produce day 1 at the NBA level. I was assuming he was a senior, or was considering coming out.

    Re: Mock NBA Draft

personally i think Gay could as well

FWIW...Coleman Collins won't be leaving VT this year either...looking very much forward to next year's basketball squad...all 5 starters back with Krabbendam and Witherspoon back from medical redshirts as well as their whole bench back as well...a 20+ win season is a must, IMO

I dont believe it will happen. Im not saying I hope they dont. Personally I hope they do, but like I said previously, I'll believe it when I see it.

    Re: Mock NBA Draft

after tonight, barring a huge upset they'll be 9-3 with games against ODU and JMU coming up next...meaning a very easily attainable 12-3 going into their conference play...an 8-8 conference record gets 20 wins...or even 7-9 and one win in the ACC tourney...or 6-8 and 2 wins in the NIT...you get the point

    but 8-8 is very reachable

    Re: Mock NBA Draft

I haven't seen too much bball so far this season in college. I have not saw UConn play yet other than some highlights. SI thought Gay could contribute, but he is still a little raw and would be a couple of years away from being a major factor, where they thought Morrison could be a main key right away.

no doubt that Gay's best days are ahead of him...but he will definitely be a player on the next level
